The WhoLiked mobile application ("the App" or "the Service") is published and operated by IRL APPS SAS.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the App, available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data and forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You must comply with the terms of the app store you downloaded the App from and with the TikTok Terms of Service when you connect your TikTok account.

4. Your Account

You can sign up with Apple, Google or an email address. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. We never collect or store your passwords.

You can delete your account at any time from the App settings. Deletion permanently removes your profile, scores, games played and friendships, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. TikTok Integration

If you choose to sync your TikTok account, you authorize the App to access, through the official TikTok login flow, the profile information and the list of videos you have liked, favorited and reposted. We only access data you explicitly authorize, and you may revoke this access at any time from your TikTok settings.

You confirm that you have the right to share this content within your game sessions, and you accept that the other players in your private game will see it. WhoLiked is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. Available content depends on the official TikTok APIs, which may change or become unavailable without notice.

6. Game Sessions and Fair Play

WhoLiked is designed for private games between consenting friends. Data exchanged during a game (PIN, votes, guesses, TikTok content) is kept in memory only and deleted at the end of the game. Only final scores, the number of games played and friendships are kept on your profile.

You agree not to:

• use the App to harass, humiliate, expose or collect data about any person without their consent;
• share a game PIN with people who have not agreed to take part in the game;
• record, screenshot or redistribute other players' content outside the game without their permission;
• cheat, tamper with scores, or use bots, scripts or modified versions of the App;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

7. Premium Subscription

The App is free to download. An optional premium subscription removes ads and unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple or Google account and managed by our billing provider, RevenueCat.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time from your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their own policies.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change for future billing periods with prior notice.

8. Advertising

Non-subscribed users may see ads served by Google AdMob (app open ads, interstitials and rewarded ads). Your choice regarding personalized ads is collected at first launch via our consent platform, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you decline, non-personalized ads may still be shown.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, its name, logo, design, code and content (excluding third-party content such as TikTok videos) are the property of IRL APPS SAS and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for private, non-commercial purposes.

TikTok content remains the property of its respective creators and is subject to TikTok's terms.

10. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the App, including game modes and features, at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available in the App and on this page. We will notify you of significant changes; continued use of the App after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or damages resulting from third-party services (TikTok, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, AdMob) or from content shared by other players during a game.

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under applicable mandatory law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
